FEATURES: For Escordvi, he has this tattoo on his upper left shoulder. It depicts the Prometheus Blood Code, which is his own.
DRESS: See linked concept art above. Gothic/punk/emo look. Reds, greys, and blacks. Looks like he could play the lead in a j-rock band.
VOICE: Japanese is the voice I use for him! But here's his English VA.

His soul/life-force/whatever is present, but he is dead. Soul-seers may also sense the BOR parasite entwined with his own, which is the reason for his immortality. The parasite is buried/entwined within Louis physical heart. Additionally, Louis is also the Sucessor of the Brain in the Heirs ending. This means he has absorbed a piece of the Queen within him-- which probably preternaturally manifests as a fragment of another person's soul. In short, a soul-seer might sense (1) Louis' soul, (2) the BOR Parasite's soul (or whatever constitutes as it), and (3) a fragment of the Queen's soul.
HEALTH:
Generally good. As a Revenant, he recovers extraordinarily quickly from any injuries. The only times he may not appear all that well are when he's low on blood.
ORIGINS: His bio states that he grew up on a remote island with his sister and parents, and his parents were researchers on the island. Half-Japanese.
FAMILY: Deceased.
OCCUPATION: Nebulous, but at the time of the Great Collapse he was studying with Cruz, either applying to med school or his first year. Either way, tragedy struck, and he had to postpone his studies, and he died. Within the Gaol, he became known as the Crimson Blade, and he made a 'living' helping others, gathering both resources and unique fighters/supporters, and leading a small group.

⯌ Immortality
Fatal wounds will cause his body to disperse, then regenerate about a day or two later, which may or may not involve losing a memory in the process. If a memory is lost with dispersal, there is a chance a Vestige might appear where he once perished. A Vestige is a thonry-like object which contains said memories and they whisper echoes of this memory, calling to any passersby. Handling a Vestige causes its thorns to impale the passerby, and it might induce madness and bloodlust-- causing a Revenant to frenzy. The game doesn't specify what happens when a normal human handles a Vestige, but it's probably painful.

⯌⯌⯌⯌⯌⯌ Vanishing attack. He does this shadow warp move and strikes an opponent.

⯌⯌⯌⯌⯌⯌ Drain: the Blood Veil of revenants that pierces a target to drain and filter blood (Ichor), which they then use to fuel their Gifts. The Blood Veil is actually a piece of armor that is tailored for Revenants, which both responds and changes in shape to their will. Think of it like this: if Louis needs to drain blood, he needn't do it via his fangs, he can use his Blood Veil as an extension of himself to pierce a target's armor or skin for him so that he may consume.
⯌ Red Mist.
An impregnable wall of blood-like substance that prevents entry and exit from either side. It causes unimaginable pain to those who attempt to cross.

⯌ Revenant Enhanced speed, strength, endurance, healing. A simple stab through the gut won't stop him from fighting. Unfortunately, he also suffers from blood lust.

⯌ Blood Veil. (See "Abilities"). His armor can transform with him at a thought. Assists with draining an enemy with an attack. The Blood Veil has a filtering component to it, which originally was designed specifically to assist draining from the Lost, to stop a Revenant from frenzying. Because there are no Lost in Escordvi, there's no need for Louis to 'filter' the blood of other enemies, as their blood doesn't pose a risk for him freezing when consumed.
⯌ Mask. Protects against poisonous substances, including the Red Mist. Also filters blood when paired with the Blood Vein armor.
